The Purpose Behind This Initiative
HEC Alumni groups have led the creation of powerful, effective networks within the HEC Paris alumni ecosystem, fostering entrepreneurship and raising the community’s awareness about the importance of sustainability and social impact.
The HEC Global Impact Community takes this work to the next level, deepening global reach and broadening the HEC Paris community.
Since 2024, we’ve worked to design an initiative to unite the global HEC Paris community — alumni of all programs, participants in certificates and executive education, professors, innovators from the HEC Paris Station F incubator, honorees of the global Mercure Awards, peers from worldwide HEC Paris campuses, and anyone else connected to the university — to create a space where ideas, capital, and purpose meet to accelerate positive change worldwide.
This initiative is an opportunity to expand existing impact networks beyond the alumni community and traditional alumni strongholds such as France. Uniquely, it aims to develop meaningful connections amongst the entire HEC Paris impact community via English as a shared language.
When it comes to sustainability and impact, many in the HEC Paris ecosystem feel a crucial need to accelerate efforts by enabling a truly global dynamic and enlarging the impact community. That’s why this initiative — born of the ideas and efforts of a handful of HEC Paris professionals representing various parts of the HEC Paris community — quickly garnered the support of the HEC Entrepreneur Club, Entrepreneurship Hub, and HEC Transition, who agreed to co-create the future of this initiative. What began as conversations between changemakers across continents has evolved into a collective effort to connect the global HEC Paris ecosystem around sustainability, innovation, and impact, the HEC Global Impact Community.
Supported by HEC Paris, rooted in co-development and sustainability, our approach is entrepreneurial: agile, collaborative, and focused on scaling solutions that transcend regions. We believe business can — and should — be a force for good, and that by connecting the right people across borders, we can amplify one another’s impact.
The Challenges We Want to Solve Together
If you’ve ever struggled to find peers, mentors, or co-founders who truly understand your mission, you’re not alone. Many impact entrepreneurs and leaders face:
Limited access to resources, deal flow, and funding.
Fragmented networks and under-leveraged HEC Paris connections.
Difficulty finding collaborators who speak the same “impact language.”
We’ve been there ourselves. That’s why, with the support of HEC Paris & HEC Alumni’s most prominent clubs in these domains, we’re building a renewed impact platform: a global, English-based network that makes it easy to find each other, share opportunities, and build together — regardless of geography.
Our Vision
We aim to activate the collective power of the HEC Paris community worldwide and catalyze impactful collaborations across continents and sectors. Through a geographical and thematic approach, members will be able to:
Connect with fellow HEC Paris community members leading change in areas such as health, education, energy, nature and ecosystems, circular economy and waste, sustainable food and agriculture, social development and entrepreneurship, consumer goods, inclusive finance, sustainable cities, and more.
Share opportunities, raise funds, and expand ideas regionally and globally.
Access peer mentoring, insights, and partnership leads tailored to local ecosystems.
Build a strong multi local network with regional & thematic hubs
Who We're Looking For
We’re currently onboarding our founding members — passionate pioneers, leaders active in impact, changemakers who want to shape the future of this community. You may be:
